Your children learn from you.

You’re nice, they are nice.

You’re nasty, they are too.

You’re happy, they are happy.

You’re sad, they are sad.

Your kids copy you, this is not

genetic - its learned.

They’re taught by you.

Think about it.

Be a better person to create better people.

It starts with You.

Be resilient

3 min read

If ever you feel at odds with yourself. Here are some help to overcome them:

Acknowledge and accept your emotions. Recognize that it's normal to experience contrasting emotions. Don't judge yourself for feeling a certain way. Allow yourself to fully experience and accept the emotions without trying to suppress or ignore them.

Identify the root causes: Try to understand the underlying reasons for your conflicting feelings. Are there specific triggers or situations that lead to these conflicting feelings? By understanding the source of your emotions, you can gain clarity and find ways to address them.

Practice self-reflection: Take time for self-reflection to gain insight into your emotions. Journaling, meditation, or talking to a trusted friend or therapist can help you explore your thoughts and feelings more deeply. This self-awareness can provide valuable insights and help you better navigate your emotions.

Separate and analyze each emotion. Break down your conflicting emotions and analyze them individually. Understand the underlying thoughts, beliefs, and values associated with each emotion. By examining them separately, you can gain a clearer understanding of why you feel conflicted and explore potential resolutions.

Seek different perspectives: Talk to others who may have faced similar situations. Hearing different perspectives can provide you with fresh insights and help you see the situation from alternative viewpoints.

Practice emotional regulation techniques: Once you've identified and understood your emotions, practice emotional regulation techniques to manage them effectively. Deep breathing exercises, mindfulness, and grounding techniques can help you stay calm and centered when facing emotional turmoil.

Take care of yourself: Prioritize self-care activities that promote your well-being. Engage in activities that bring you joy, such as hobbies, exercise, spending time in nature, or engaging in creative pursuits. Taking care of your physical and mental health can provide a solid foundation for managing conflicting feelings.

Find balance: Instead of trying to eliminate conflicting feelings entirely, focus on finding a balance between them. Embrace the complexity of your emotions and look for ways to integrate and reconcile them harmoniously.

Seek professional help if needed: If you find that your emotions are persistently causing distress and significantly impacting your daily life, seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor can provide you with additional support and guidance.

It's important to keep in mind that resolving intricate feelings is a process that requires patience and introspection. Be kind to yourself and believe that you can discover more emotional balance and harmony if you give it enough time and effort.

Isolation

1 min read

I'm surrounded by solitude.

I enjoy its tranquility.

There is calm in the quiet.

That puts an end to my concerns.

I sit and read one or two books.

Maybe create some moving prose.

I savor my coffee while gazing at the scenery.

causing my spirit to soar.

The satisfaction of solitude,

Is one that can't be matched.

No need to speak on the phone,

Time is all I have to catch.

So even though the world may pass quickly,

Others are on the hunt for thrills.

I'm happy to just lie.

Feel the happiness that remains.

Because being alone is not a sin,

A chance, though, to discover one's way.

And we soak in the silence.

In ideas that are in play.

So let me revel in my time,

And be alone but happy.

For in the stillness, I will find,

A peace that's truly snappy
